ReGen | Friends of Boma

Kenzo June 26, 2010

I spoke with Kenzo tonight on the eve of his birthday. Besides sending birthday greetings, we talked about family, church, and school.

  • As some of you already know, Lau's mother passed away recently and Kenzo's uncle also passed away. Shortly thereafter, Kenzo's father has an attack and was hospitalized in Maduda. He was subsequently transferred to Boma and his recovery is starting. Pray for the family as they deal with compound grief.
  • Continue to pray for the CEAC church as the challenges are mounting again.
  • Things are going well at FACTEB with academic year drawing to a close.
  • The final stage of construction of the Married Students' Residence C1/C2 is active with just the retaining wall to be completed.
  • There is a group traveling from First Alliance Church Calgary to visit FACTEB shortly. Pray for traveling safety and strong relationships to develop.
  • After the team from First Alliance leave, Kenzo will have two weeks to spend with family before returning to Canada Aug 16. Pray for peace and comfort for all.
  • The country wide celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Independence from Belgium is June 30, 2010.
